I'm 61, retired, and about to launch my 50 foot cat pictured here (my second design and build). Twin masted, junk rigged, double ended, slim hulled (10 to one slimness ratio), twin engined, solar, rain collecting, hard dodger and three helmed yacht has an all-up design. KISS principled sturdy designed home is meant to take the worst that even Climate Change can throw at it (and para-anchor equipped).
Laid back owner/captain is looking for aware woman to join me and my two cats to sail to see the islands and the Southern Cross from upstate New York.
What I am looking for
A woman who can take watches, handle the ropes in the locks, and join me for adventures in warmer climes.
I expect to cross the Equator at some time in the future. The Time Lord has an unusual rig (50-50 around the mast) and we can learn to sail her together. No experience required, just a lust for Sun and adventure. A green thumb would be nice, as the inside is practically a greenhouse.
